In this video, I will bring you to Colorado National Monument with me to explore the west side of Colorado. I will show you how I captured the sunset and the sunrise and the unique rock formations.
In this video we will go through three common shutter types: mechanical shutter, electronic shutter and electronic front curtain shutter. I will use Fujifilm X-H1 as an example because it has all three shutters. We will be looking at the pros and cons of each shutter and when to use each shutter in a certain situation.
July is a great season in Colorado due to the blossoms of wildflowers. Here you can see the most fresh and vivid colors of the nature. Also it is a great time to see waterfalls in Colorado. As the snow slowly melts, the water flows strongly and rapidly. The trail I hiked in the video was called Fourth of July trail which leads to the Fourth of July Mine. And beyond that, you would see amazing sweeping views of the Rocky Mountains.
Recently I planned a trip to Rocky Mountain National Park but due to the U.S. government shutdown, I had to change my plan. I went to Chautauqua Park after a snowy day. It is my first time using the new Nikon Z6, which is a 24 MP full frame mirrorless camera. I captured a couple winter landscape photos with the Nikon Z 6. Also in this video, I am going to talk about why I picked up a Nikon Z 6 over Fujifilm X-H1 and Fujifilm X-T3
